The hypocrisy of Berlin officials allowing Pride events with tens of thousands of attendees but banning lockdown protests is blatant. It is also ironic considering a massive COVID-19 outbreak among vaccinated individuals in Provincetown, Massachusetts recently occurred in the United States. Provincetown is the gay resort capital of the United States, and more than 450 vaccinated individuals (82% men) contracted COVID-19 following celebratory events in Barnstable County for Independence Day:
