Mail-in Ballot Data Issues
151,402 mail-in ballots were sent out on federally recognized holidays (USPS is closed on Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veteran’s Day):
- 170 ballots were mailed on September 7th, 2020 (Labor Day)
- 151,103 mail-in ballots were mailed on October 12th, 2020 (Columbus Day)
- 129 ballots were mailed on November 11th, 2020 (Veteran’s Day)
- 126,485 mail-in ballots were sent out on Columbus Day in Bucks County
Pennsylvania mailed, received, or approved 486,709 mail-in ballots on holidays (Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day) and Sundays. The USPS is closed on federally recognized holidays and on Sundays.
Pennsylvania approved 3,085,217 main-in ballots. 2,630,157 (or 85.25 % )were returned before 12/26/2020. 455,098 mail-in ballots have no return date. 14.75% of mail-in ballots that were approved were not returned.
Open PA Data Ballot Issues
Allegheny County
On October 14th, 2020, Trib Live reported that between 35,000 and 40,000 mail-in ballots for Allegheny County voters were printed but not yet mailed. Another 19,564 ballots needed to be reprinted after a third-party vendor mailed incorrect ballots to 28,879 Allegheny County voters.
That means between 3,411 and 8,411 ballots that were requested by Allegheny County voters were never sent.
Erie County
On September 14th, 2020, the Erie County Clerk of Elections stated that sending out mail-in ballots to voters before the ticket was finalized could prevent the State from certifying the election results.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court finalized the Presidential ticket on September 17th, 2020, when the Court removed the Green Party Presidential candidate from the ticket.
However, Erie County received 332 mail-in ballots before September 18th, 2020.
On October 5th, 2020, the Erie County Clerk of Elections stated that “nearly 21,000 mail-in ballots” had been mailed and 164 ballots were returned.
However, according to PA Open Data, Erie County mailed 44,960 and received 482 ballots before October 6th, 2020.
That means at least 23,960 more ballots were mailed to Erie County residents than the Erie County Clerk of Elections claimed. Additionally, Erie County received 318 more mail-in ballots than the Clerk of Elections stated.
Underestimating mail-in ballot requests by more than 200% raises valid causes for concern.
Bucks County
Bucks County has 483,590 registered voters. According to PA Open Data, Bucks County mailed 126,485 mail-in ballots to voters on Columbus Day.
30.9% of Bucks County votes were mail-in ballots. Bucks County also used mail-in ballot drop-off boxes.
Bucks County mailed a total of 192,310 mail in-ballots. 65.77% of all mail-in ballots sent to Bucks County voters were mailed on Columbus Day.
Columbus Day is a holiday is a federally recognized holiday. Post offices are closed. Columbus Day 2020 was also a state holiday in PA.
Chester County
Chester County reported receiving 151,149 mail-in ballots for the 2020 General Election, while Pennsylvania reported a total of 148,866 (144,530 received before November 4th, 2020)mail-in ballots in Chester County.
Chester County began mailing ballots to voters in the last week of September (09/27/20-09/30/20).
Between four counties, 147,172 ballots were documented by Pennsylvania as being mailed before the involved counties started sending ballots to voters. Those four counties also received a total of 452 ballots before those counties began sending ballots to voters.
Of the 119,352 ballots sent before 09/27/2020, 107,531 have return dates.
Berks County
While Berks County did not begin mailing ballots to voters until October 2nd, 571 ballots were sent out to voters before October 2nd.
Lehigh County
Lehigh County started sending mail-in ballots to voters on October 6th, 2020. Yet more than 12,000 ballots were sent to voters before October 6th, 2020.
Additionally, Lehigh County received 205 ballots before October 6th, 2020. 12,338 ballots that were mailed to voters before October 6th, 2020 were returned.
Northampton
Northampton County began mailing mail-in ballots on September 28th, 2020.
5,362 ballots were mailed to voters before September 28th, while 112 ballots were returned before Northampton County began mailing ballots to voters. 4,910 ballots that were mailed prior to September 28th, 2020 were returned.
Indiana
Indiana County Chief Clerk Robyn Maryai shared in an article written by the Indiana Gazette on October 6th, 2020 that the first batches of mail-in and absentee ballots were sent on October 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
According to PA Open Data, Indiana County mailed 10,093 and received 47 ballots before October 1st, 2020. 8,579 ballots were mailed to Indiana County voters before October 1st.
If Indiana County did not mail any ballots to voters before October 1st, 2020, why does the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s 2020 General Election Data state otherwise?
Westmorland County
On October 19th, Trib Live reported that 64,604 mail-in ballots were sent to voters.
However, PA Open Data reports only 62,903 mail-in ballots were sent to voters before October 20th, 2020, resulting in 1,701 unaccounted for ballots.
Voters Born in the 1800s
Overall, 63 voters were born in the 1800s (53 were born on 01/01/1800). 40 voters born in the 1800s returned their mail-in ballots.
PA Secretary of State Data Shows Overvote
The Pennsylvania Department of State Election Stats webpage shows 14,408 more votes than voters.
While the PA Department of State shows 2,637,065 mail-in ballots, PA Open Data shows that only 2,630,157 mail-in ballots were returned.

Voter Deficit of 170,830
The ticket for the Presidential Election was finalized on 9/17/20, when the PA Supreme Court decides to remove a Green Party candidate from the ballot.
Philadelphia anticipated mailing ballots out on 9/25/20.
When including all categories from the tables above excluding ballots mailed before 9/25/20 (and only counting ballots mailed on holidays once), 509,712 mail-in ballots have severe issues based on the data Pennsylvania provided on data.pa.gov for the 2020 general election mail in ballots.
Additionally, 14.75% of mail in ballots were not returned (>450,000).
