On June 29, 2023, Dutch media outlets and Twitter claimed Dutch farmers are forming convoys to protest a variety of policies and proposals targeting farmers, ranging from nitrogen caps to forced culling of cattle to create litigation suggestions to increase sales of land owned by Dutch farmers.
