Trump Accountability Project

The Trump Accountability Project’s mission is to hold individuals who supported and enabled Donald Trump responsible by sharing their names and barring them from public positions. Below is a screen recording of what the website looked like beginning on November 3rd. The video includes a walkthrough of how the website made a public list of over 1,200 Americans accused by the website of aiding Trump’s administration.

The list included Lawyers, Judges, Cabinet Members, public officials, staff assistants, and donors. Notable names include Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Barret, Jones Day law firm, and 1,202 members of the Trump administration.

The Trump Accountability Project’s domain name (www.trumpaccountability.net) was created/bought on November 3rd, 2020 at 18:00:05 Z (or 2:00 p.m. EST). It was created before election polls closed.

Here is what the Trump Accountability Project website looked like in November 2020:

The Trump Accountability Project recently announced it was terminating operations while stating the goal of the project was to restore “the soul of the nation.” Joe Biden’s campaign slogan? :

Unfortunately, the Trump Accountability Project is not the only movement pushing towards retribution, vengeance, and creating “lists” of Americans who supported Trump:

The premise of the Trump Accountability Project and other notable anti-liberal radicals encouraging Americans to make and keep lists of political opponents is fascist and totalitarian. The Nazi Party immediately banned all other political parties. The Antifaschistische Aktion, the predecessor to recent anti-fascists movements, was a group created by Stalinist supporters and worked with Hitler and the Nazi Party to eliminate the liberal Social Democrat Party.

Retribution and retaliation have no place in a healthy democracy. Allowing extremists on either side of the political spectrum is welcoming a system of oppression in which the losing candidates and supporters are harassed, threatened, and exiled from “polite” society.

Interestingly, Reuters confirmed that in late August 2020, Antifa.com began redirecting to JoeBiden.com.
